Join us for a reception to unveil the 28th annual Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale, featuring more than 100 of the nation’s leading western painters and sculptors. We will visit two full log buildings, the Hideout Lodge and Guest Ranch, the historic Trapper Creek Lodge built by the Wyeth family in 1926, and The Old Shell Lodge, 1896, built out of local sandstone and currently under restoration. We will tour these three buildings and have lunch at The Trapper Creek Supper Club. Reservations required. | ||

In 2006, fashion designers, Pate Stetson and Anne Beard, proposed the creation of a Costume Institute of the American West to the BBHC trustees and directors. Featuring excerpts from that presentation, this seminar will discuss the historical evolution of western costume and the influence that resultant style has on contemporary fashion. An overview of the costume institute’s objectives and prospects will conclude the seminar. Free to the public. | ||
